The Basement Recovery Project

The Basement Recovery Project is an independent self-help, not for profit, charitable organisation, based in Halifax, Calderdale & Huddersfield and Dewsbury in Kirklees. We offer support and inspiration to those people who are involved with alcohol and / or substance misuse, the opportunity of a new sustained abstinent lifestyle – recovery from addiction.

You will find all our staff have been touched by the issues of alcohol and drug addiction in some way or another and many have been where you are now.

We understand what you are going through – physically, mentally and emotionally.

If you are looking for more information about alcohol and drug addiction, why we do what we do, what are the health risks, the facts, useful links and other information, you will find it on our site.

If you already know you have a drink or drug problem and you live in the Calderdale or Kirklees area why not head right to the contact us page now to get help.

Asking for help is the first step, we can’t do that bit for you, we don’t know who you are, but we can help you with the rest.

You’re not alone – there is hope!
